The exact location of Bahamut’s palace is unknown and is only referred to as being “beyond the East Wind.” Many think that this is a reference to the Elemental Plane of Air or Seven Heavens, others believe that it is located in a spinning whirlwind or vortex of no fixed location. Bahamut is the child of the dragon god Io and twin sister to his nemesis, the evil dragon Tiamat. He is also served by former mortals who have been granted divine-like powers.
